3 arrested in Seahaven Seaside Lodge taking pictures

PANAMA Metropolis Beach, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) –

Panama City Seashore police say they arrested a few individuals in link with Saturday’s shooting at Sea Haven Hotel.

They say they arrested Marquis Thompson, 27, of Lithia Springs, Georgia Heather Slay, 27, of Lithia Springs, Georgia and Tahirah Ogunti, 26, of Atlanta, Georgia.

Officers say Thompson allegedly acquired into an argument with one particular of the resort workforce, then shoot the employee at the time in the still left arm.

Thompson then ran off to his room, grabbed Slay’s keys, and drove off east on Entrance Seashore Highway.

Officials say they later observed two firearms in Ogunti’s possession, and she was billed with carrying a hid firearm. They also say Slay was billed with giving untrue information through the investigation.

Thompson was later found in Dothan, Alabama at the Traveling J travel centre. He was arrested with out incident for attempted murder.


Close to 4:30 Saturday evening, Panama City Seashore Law enforcement officers responded to a capturing at Seahaven Seaside Resort in Panama Town Seashore.

Law enforcement say when they arrived they uncovered a target who was suffering from non-daily life-threatening gunshot wounds. The sufferer was transported to an spot healthcare facility.

Officers say this is an isolated incident. The investigation is continue to ongoing.
